I have searched and understand E2 relates to the BDM but the question I have is;
I have recently purchased an EBII GHIA V8 and thought while I was swapping out somethings that didn't work/look good from my ED Fairmont I would run the diagnostic check on the climate control. Prior to this the climate control had worked perfectly, hot and cold, no issues. Following the test I got the E2 code, now the climate control only blows hot air no matter what it is set at and detects the ambient temperature at 21 no matter the outside temperature, both during the heat of the day and the cool night. Has the climate control just realised the BDM is not functioning correctly and is now doing it's own thing? If I change out my climate control unit from my ED which hasn't had the diagnostic check run should the climate control revert to it's previous correctly functioning state? Has anyone else had this problem(not E2, every man and his dog has had that, but the working, tested, not working issue) |
