hi i was wondering if anyone would have a basic check list to go by for a turbo set up on a falcon before booking it in for a engineers report in victoria, like just a guide to go by on what they look for and stuff, and also does anyone no what it cost for one?

You need to pass an emissions test before they will see you.

The rest you can go in and get them to look at it, they will tell you what they dont like and you can fix it all up and take it back.

i take it that at $2500 for an emissions test before an engineering cert that most of the later falcons are driving around without either of these. how does everyone go with insurance if this is the case?

3rd party or if you are over 25 Shannons will cover it.

I had to sell my AU as I couldnt get insurance and it was worth too much to crash. This is why I have an EA now. If I smash it WGAF. Another one is a weeks worth of pay and 2 weekends to swap everything over :)

but the insurance would be void without a valid engineers certificate wouldnt it? also is it true that you can pass an engineering cert without a emissions test in vic? ie they are two very seperate things?

cheers

With almost no boost and tune very close to std specs, it should pass no troubles...
The cost is a hurdle tho !!!
