Do EL falcons have knock sensors? and Is the only way to control a EL falcons timing through the Dizzy? this is on a totally standard car with no mods at all.

Yes they have knock sensors.
With the dizzy you can control the base timing point, but the ECU will still advance and retard based on its timing map from there. If you want to alter timing, you will need a programmable ECU of sorts. |

The timing map the ecu uses is only + or - 4 degrees. It changes the ignition timing according to engine temp and oxy sensor readings etc. When the motor is cold it will advance your timing a little and when very hot will retard it a little?
