On the last two cold starts of the EF, the thermofans have come on when I turn the ignition on. A few seconds later, they switch off and the car will go no probs.
Any reason it's decided to do this for no reason?

They come on for a split second when the AC clutch kicks in.

Nah mines a different story,
I have a few relays that trigger from the AC clutch and when thats engaged... my fans go flat out to assist in cooling at idle which gives me a nice comfortable temp and great airflow for the condensor for the AC. also keeps the ac pump cool. Even when disconnected, on a cold morning the AC clutch kicks in for a sec and the thermo's spin and then stop almost instantly.
