ok here is how it goes i got el engine el tranny fixed my intake with a custom design of mine 2.5" lukey catback system but for some reason every1 was stopping me from putting the el chip into my car ( because i apparently must have the bbm ) is this true? if i plug it streight in and use the smartlock overide module will it work? my engines running way to rich blowing the black smoke i dont want to cop a epa i gotta pay 3 allready for throwing ciggys out the window..

Also could anything alse be causing the black smoke. ex: map sensor?

yep the map sensor could be totaly f'd.

the ecu may or may not work.

jus wanna stop the black smoke so u rkn i shud pull out a el map sensor from a car at the wreckers? if so were are they located?

they are on the firewall behind the inlet manifold,,a little black thing with a vacuum hose and wires connected to it.
