An EB XR8 looks like an EB GLi with badges, xr8 garnish, alloys and slightly lower springs.
Seeing as we are in the V8 workshop, the difference between an EB Fairmont 5L and an EB XR8 5L, is absolutely nothing.
Identical in every way.

EBs? Wing, was an option.
Lights are the same, quad lights didn't come out till ED.
XR8 badges
This might be better in exterior modification if you just want to make an XR8 faker.

Don't forget the tacho (ie S pack dash) & the XR8 was the only way to get a manual behind the 8 (until the GT was released).

what i have found out so far and i dont think its allot but it seems the xr8 in the eb wasnt much s in extras unlike the ED .

you could almost call any EB with a v8 a xr8 well almost.

i think,

in eb series 2 the XRs had the sports cluster, lsd, different materials on the seats? a red stripe around the car, an extra lip on the front spoiler and them flat 5 spoke mags.. also sat slightly lower on sports suspension...

fairmont ghia had all of that aswell, except ghia couldnt be had as manual(not that u cant change that these days)

They had better seats, rear spoiler, firmer springs and shocks, duel diaphram booster, small spoiler on front like the latter ED models.. I have both EBXR8 an EB Fairmont and Ed XR6... Majer difference was quad head lights, smartlock...
Here's an EBl [the intercooler was added]
Image
EL GT mags fitted...

Yeah, and the EA Spack had the front bumper extension too, as well as the Ghia. Also an ED Futura has that extension, (my dads has one).

the xr6 got a 13kw power hike over the std 6 (148kw -> 161kw). the eights were all the same power(165kw)
