My engine atm is in pieces due to a freshen up and headgasket change.

Now, i could buy a Au Engine i think for around $600, how much would it cost to get the sump welded to fit an EF engine bay?


Now i've never done a engine swap before, really just done smaller type stuff in the engine, is it hard to do? should i tackle it and is it worth it?

about $100 to mod the sump...
(take it off cut it and take it to a fabricator)
Im seriously concidering the same thing... however with a freshen up with more poke in it

engine swap isnt too hard if you have the right tools and have a general idea wot your doing

essential to have an engine crane. cost about $300 or so.
good set of sockets and spanners for removing bellhousing bolts etc.
Can easily be done by yourself also.
