no other way. the 4480 competitions are tuned length with smaller primaries, higher exhaust velocity due to small pipe blah blah, better low end, 4499's bigger primaries will give you better top end and less down low. all in all, on the street your really going to notice f**k difference. if you think your pants can dyno 1-2kw then go for it. for me the extra 150 or what ever they were didnt justify the price.

I just measured the O.D. of the primaries, and they are 41.7mm. They are the 4480's. What are the O.D. of the 4499's????

I like the setup cjh, you have quite a few good pics of things you have done to your car..
would it have sounded any good if you ran a twin system side by side out the back of the car? I heard a vn with a dual system on a v6, but it was horrible

And its not too noisy, doesn't get any unwanted attention.

Yeah, was that over a standard system tho? Mine revved better and went a lot better, but that was because I had the original exhaust on the car after 346000km.... so it was pretty much stuffed hey.
I just got a mandrel bent 2.5 system with berklee muffler sounds good needs a resonator I reckon but
