I am in the market for a cam but dont know what to get and my car being a XR6 will the power gain be significant over a stock one. I can get a crow cam for around $350.What would you recommend crow cam or wade better. Do you have to use shims for most cams

Shouldn't have to use more shims (you will have to use the set already fitted to your rocker gear from the factory but), as Crow Cams are replacement billet cams.
Wade are regrinds (I think they might also offer billet for a higher price but) and will require an extra set of shims. For the price difference I'd go with Wade, you save $150ish. |
