link is fixed, for some reason they changed the google search for the article.
The JMM cam and installation was a $2000 flop. link; http://66.102.9.104/search?q=cache:4ibh ... =clnk&cd=1

f**k hell, $2000 to spend doing a cam change! My Wade 1636 only cost $150.00 including freight to me and freight to return the exchange, then $40 on shims, and $25 on gasket.
Bit over $200.00. Might not have as much R&D as JMM, or possibly even not as good results. But I'd bet that with the $1,800 I saved I'd be able to do other mods to flog JMM... Autospeed absolutely love JMM but, every Pre-BA article written about a Falcon 6 by them has JMM in it. |

i had the same problem, with the cam install in my car, actually lost mass power though, to the point it couldnt do a burnout in the wet.
ah well, its all sorted now still using that same cam too. |

They have some pretty cool articles at Autospeed, but how accurate this article is I don't know, I won't get into it.
Not saying this is the case with this article but I found a lot of articles had inconsistencies, I also found a lot of mistakes that the average Joe without automotive background would take as the truth, then again we also read car magazines which publish mistakes and illegal modifications without warning the readers too. I used to subscribe to Autospeed until I lost all faith in what was written and had double dip in the cost department, pay for subscription and the cost of printing the articles if I wanted to read them while having a dump. It is the same as any answer given in this forum, don't take everything as correct information, read up and double check so you can make up your own mind to what is right and wrong, if you get 10 answers that are basically the same it is a high chance it is correct information, but not always.

wasnt the cams fault, as i said its working perfectly now with the same cam.
its an RPD R3 as said in my sig. if i had my go again from scratch, i would DEFIANTLY spend the money with JMM, they might cost a bit at first, but they are PROVEN, and at least you wont have to go to 3 differant mechanics to get it fitted right. |

Rushed, what exactly was wrong with how you had your R3 installed?
I've still got mine sitting at home.

rpd r3 - is that a jmm cam?
as you say jmm cams are proven.....autospeed proved the jmm streetfighter cam did jack.

So this EF pulled 142rwkw with a stock cam? And the Dev4 pulled 'only' 144? Assuming the dyno isn't very happy, my guess would be the cam that was taken out of the car wasn't stock.
