hi
just wondering if my car might have raised springs to counteract the lpg tank, as i am wanting to lower my car. the back seems to be riding about 65mm from the tyre and front ~ 70mm. using a ruler as shown in the pic below. the rear springs are red but i couldnt see any brand (the front are black) it dosent have the Self leveling air suspension any more. anyway does anyone know if these heights would be approx to std springs or raised springs. atm i want to put lows on it, but has anyone used lows with an lpg tank??? and i dont want to change the suspension yet. also one more. the camber of my front wheels are out 0deg49` left and 1deg38min right. (from wheel allign) would lowering it on lows make the camber even worse and force me to get a camber kit? sry bout the life story Thanks Ben

If the springs are red I would say that they would be pedders springs. My xr8 on standard suspension with a sub box in the back measures at 345mm at the rear and 355mm at the front. Standard suspension is meant to = lows. I haven't lowered an LPG car but I am guessing a sub box with 2 X 12 inch subs would be close to the weight of a gas tank.

i had red heavy duty pedder springs in mine when i fitted gas cause i thought it may need the support with the extra weight but it sat up like "jackie" - now i got king lows and alls sweet
