Supercheap has them, and so does Repco too.

Those $25 TFI pods at supercheap have a filter medium made out of paper just like the paper on your paper panel filter. If you spray oil on them they die... Just use a air compressor and clean them with air just like you can do with the stock paper panel filters.
The pod filters you oil have surgical cotton as a filter medium. Look really close at the filter and it should look like a cotton bandage you see in a first aid kit. Now you can spray these pods with K&N oil recharge kit. Cheers.

That stuff inbetween the wire mesh is not paper, its cotton, like in the K&N and other brand filters. You do NOT blow them out with compressed air, it will displace the fillements of cotton. and don't use too higher water pressure to clean them.

What brand is your pod filter? Every TFI racing pod i have seen sold at supercheap for $25 is a dry element filter. It uses paper as a filter medium. Exactly like the $25 SAAS pod filters sold at Autobarn. I have both a TFI pod and a K&N pod and if you look closly behind the mesh you can see the difference. K&N is cotton and the TFI is paper. read this link it shows the 4 types of Pod filters. The 3rd one is a Apexi dry element which uses a paper filter and is exaxt the same type as the TFI racing brand found at supercheap. http://www.mkiv.com/techarticles/filters_test/2/ Cheers

NAparts is the nation wide distributer for TFI racing parts.
I would say you may have picked up a cheap cotton one since you got it a few years ago? But if so it should have been pre-oiled when you got it! So if it came dry in the packet i would say it was originally a dry element paper pod filter. All the supercheap pods sold for $25 under the TFI racing brand are a dry element(paper) and should NOT be sprayed with filter oil. Cheers........
