There are plenty of other shifter setups that will fit and probably better that the 'quickshifter', have a look thought the hurst range and some other b&m kits

B&M Quicksilver is the go, they also come with the selector plate and brackets for 4 speed autos.
I'm not 100% sure if they fit the BTR, i'd say they would. Bit of screwing around fitting one to an EA though, you can either piss the consol off or do a nice custom job and make it look factory like i did with my XD. NO you don't gain power lol. |

As Walker said, go the Quicksilver, i've got one sitting here that I've been meaning to try for about 2 years now.

How do you fit the quicksilver to the BTR?
I was under the impression they only worked with hydraulic boxes? |

All they do is replace the factory shifter and shifter linkage with cable so you can only bump the stick one gear at a time. You can leave it in D and let the box do the rest or you can row through the gears but that is pointless with an electronic box and factory shift programming.

I was under the impression they only worked with hydraulic boxes? no, they have a cable that connects to the shifter rod as far as I understant. so all you have to do is work out how high/low on the shifter rod of the BTR to connect the cable so that when you move the shifter it moves the shifter stick on the BTR the right amount. Will also have to make a bracket to mount the cable on the box. |
