Had my car in at the auto gearbox workshop yesterday because it gave me a bit trouble (once so far) by going into neutral then slamming into gear, the fella who built my auto took it for several drives throughout the day and it didn't play, when I was picking the car up I told him that it won't spin when I stall it up in the dry, wet, full lock right or left and jabbing the brake it'll just sit on stall converter and do nothing.

We went for a drive and he tried many times stalling it up to get it to spin and got nothing, it'll push the front tyres (skidding),he said the auto is working properly, theres no slip because stalling it up will show if theres any slippage in the box.
He said it could be the cam I got in, which is the R6 which RPD designed for the auto for low-mid range torque.

I'll be rebuilding the rear calipers over the long weekend as well as fitting braided brake lines I just bought.
Would the rear calipers have something to do with my traction problem?

when my rpd cam wasnt fitted right it couldnt do a burnout in the wet.

another problem was the gearbox, in nuetral it would have full timing advance, but in gear on dyno have only idle timing (wouldnt increase timing).

took it to a new mechanic and they fixed the problem in one day, bloody hammers now.

so idd suggest checking the timing see if it is majorly retarded.

Mate calipers are breaks they got nothing to do with traction, your traction seems to be fine, most people have problems with lack of traction!

I have a r1 in my car, the cam doesnt kick in until around 2500 revs and that bags em up wet/dry no matter what surface and its auto too. I think something might be wrong with your car mate........
