Ok just wanted to know wat the best paint is to spray up my calipers because its cheaper sprayin them than buying new ones. i have big calipers on it already.Cheers...Pics comin soon.

That depends on how good you want them to look and how long that look will last.
I rebuilt mine, just std ones, beadblasted them, painted them, baked them in the oven, and rekitted them, installed them. I also did the rotors too, they were new ones.

I used $3 spray paint from Supercheap. 1 year on they still look the same as the day I painted them...

I used that VHT high temp stuff. it lasted about 30 mins. cause when i bleed the brakes after i assembled them the bleed hose came off and covered one of the calipers in brake fluid. EXCELLENT paint striper
otherwise they rest are all good. Cheers, Jason. |

VHT Brake Drum and Caliper paint... its a high temp paint... higher than engine enamel

I have a small beadblasting cabinet at home. I got it for $250, then there's glass beads, about $75 for a 20kg bag, and you need a compressor of about 15 CFM minimum, and run 90psi through it.
