Any ideas for my XF ute's interior? I was planning on the Fairmont interior but i've decided I want something... unique.

Any tips? (I don't care how crazy or imaginative they are!)

I'd be hoping for less that $500, not including audio. (although i'd be willing to pay more...)
I want something truly 'out there' though... Should be fun.

im doing my interior (after i put turbo in) in velvet or microsuede. with custom pods... and a sub thru the rear wall.

im having it all black with red accents to match the seats

its probably cheapest to get the material from Spotlight stores.

i got an XG so similer, and for a start, im going to make some carpet up for the floor so that crappy stock rubber floor can be covered.
Also a plate of checker plate where the gear selector is looks pretty sweet on these cars, maby if ur lucky some cheap bucket seats of e-bay?
i have always wanted to put the XF Station wagon chrome inteerior light in mine as well, i recon that would look mad and i havent seen it on a ute before.
Also if ur on e-bay, the steering wheel is a easy and can be a cheap mod as well.
Also do u like rice? coz if u do then theres plenty of spots to put lights on them.
just things like that!

RICE FTW! Haha don't worry, there will be plenty of lights in there.
I was hoping to keep the bench seat, however I don't know where to find a good cover for it... I'll prolly just do it myself.

Any Ideas for a theme?

Have you thought about putting FE LTD interior?

The dash would fit straight in and you would get the digital dash, cruise control, possibly a trip computer and power windows.

Switches for power windows were located on the doors, therefore you keep the bench seat.

The benchseat could be re-trimmed in deeply padded velour. The door trims would have map pockets, velour coverings and the interior door handles can be changed to chrome handles.

All of this would be well under $500.

I hope this helps you.
