I've got the perfect solution for ya mate... You know the rear seats... instead of removing the foam and leather from the back part and putting it on your old bracket thingy or whatever, you could try doing what i did. You know how when you put up your normal rear seat it locks in to those metal bar things that are pokeing out? well, when i installed my concorde seats, i simply unbolted them (the metal bar things) and then fit the seats in and they shut fine. No problems at all. Didn't have to adjust anything. The only thing is that the seats don't lock in place, so you don't have to push the button on the top to pull them down. You can just pull them down by pulling on the head rest. But they stay in place anyway, even if i brake hard. Also, an added bonus... if you get locked in your boot again, you can simply push the seats down with your head or baseball bat (which ever you prefer) without having to squeeze your arm through them. :D Hope that helps! Here's a pic of what i'm talking about incase im not making any sense... I'm pretty sure that what you have described would be highly illegal and probably dangerous too. If you ever had anything reasonably heavy in the boot, ie unsecured sub box or any other things that people carry around, the braking/accident force could be enough for said object to smash against the back seat and either a) push it down and said the object straight to you at great speed, or b) push against the back seat and may injure back seat passengers (particularly kids, or kids in child seats). |

Yeah you're right, i forgot to mention all that actually.. oops. But for me it's not really a problem, coz a) I don't got no sub box and don't plan on ever having one. 2) My boot's almost always empty. and b) Kid's suck, children under the age of 13 are not aloud in my car. But yes, you're right, probably illegal and not exactly the most safest thing. Sorry till, I forgot to mention that.

Also it is something your insurance company would not be impressed by. Especially if something happens and they find out about it, could hurt you $$$ remember, your car has to be "insurable" to be insured...
Hey Till, what you have beats the Safety Grey color the others have yeah |

Lol yeah the cappa is nice, but unfortunately this cappa interior wasn't looked after. I'll retrim the cappa one day, in a colour just like it or a creamy or tan colour would be nice.

Mate I had a play, and it looks damn near impossible to get a right fit, it just won't look right at all I think. I'm going to get an uhpolster to give me a quote to swap the skins, can't be too hefty you would think.

In regards to the chip on the LTD woodgrain console surround, would you be interested in an "F" badge from an EL Fairmont?
Please let me know. I may have two - but got one for now.

I'm right near the Hyperdome.
@cam: I'd like to do that, but when I've done my doors I'll the Fairmont "F" on the passenger side of the dash (factory) and on both front doors (EL Mont spec). I just think another "F" badge would be over kill mate, not to mention I'd rather something with less height to it to cover the chip.
