i got away with using teh standard injectors i just upgraded the fuel pump to a 600hp bosch intank fuel pump and a 12:1 inline rising rate fuel reg. i had the car on 5 psi and still ran fine went hard as all hell too. car wasnt pingng as every1 said it would i just had to spent a cpl of hours fiddling with the timing.
i will be selling them shortly if your interested only approx 2000km old reason for selling is ive gone straight gas. |

i certainly wouldnt recommend the above setup, but i guess it works.... if you are planning on trying to keep the std ECU... basically, if you are keeping the ecu, then that is about your only option
you can use he std reg, or upgrade to a nice shiny aftermarket one, which is designed to be used in boosted applications (im not refering to a rising rate reg) my personal favorite is the turbosmart street reg.. i can supply this no problems i used the bosch 044 pump, its the biggest bosch pump available, depends o how handy you are with installing all this stuff, as to fit it in-tank wasnt the easiest job. but some of the smaller bosch units may be better suited. easiest place to buy this is ebay. you wont be able to upgrade injectors unless running an aftermarket ECU, if you are doing that. then some siemens injectors from 55-83lb i can do for $630

im not 100% sure i may be wrong but the one that comes in the kit basicly means that the reg works off boost pressure so you still run the standard reg you just run the other reg inline and as soon as it see boost it automatically takes over. i may be wrong though

yeah was just thinking if the boost referenced reg is with the standard reg it wont work cos they'll both try to override each other. wudnt u need one or the other. also is the boost referenced reg in the snort package just a performance replacement, like as in bolts up where the old one is?

you run them inline with eachother. the boost refrence reg has a vacume port on it so you connect that to manifold vacume or t-piece it off the standard reg which is wat i did and as soon as it see's boost pressure it takes over the standard. they way u hook it up is the return from the standard reg goes to the inlet of the boost refrence reg and the outlet/return of the boost refrence goes to the returno line from the tank. and thats how it works. like i said before i had this setup on my car with standard comp and car run very nice on 5psi. you just have to fiddle around with the timing i only had mine setup like that for 2month then i went straight gas.hope that all make sence and helps you
