hey,
i have recently started retrimming my EF but when i was putting the handles back on the door i couldnt get the little plastic clips that hold on to the rod that opens the door back on... i have broken two so far, anyone know the trick to getting them back on? because cable ties dont work too well. thanks

Handle:

Tilt it sideways, Slide up and twist in.
I've found by pulling on the control arm towards the front of the car and bringing it towards me helps heaps.

Lock ontop of door:

Small screw driver,
Lever the base of the knob (white bit exposed on the bottom)
Get in, Shut Door
Press Door Lock
Place part in trim - Slam down.

This way the clip locks onto the thread. in the correct position (low when locked)

pretty easy

i had the same problem when i was putting EF trims on my EB, all of the white plastic bits broke off lol, im not recomending it to you but all i did was slightly bent the rod back a little and they slipped on quite well. havent come off yet though its only been 1 day haha.

i wouldnt have a clue if the rods are bent different in the EF compared to the EB either. just giving you hope if all else fails ;)
