Anyone know if the AU rocker cover will fit straight onto the EB-ED 4.0? Or even if the EF-EL rocker cover will fit straight onto the EB-ED 4.0?
Thanks.

yup just use bolts instead of the boxcar nuts.

ex: if using ef cover use ef bolts, vice versa, from mem the rocker gear doesnt need changing.

whats neede to do this is the gasket for that series cover and the mounting hard ware on ea-ed the had nuts holding them down remove these nuts then the cover and using a pair of vice grips unscrew the stud and use the bolts that ef-au came out with viceversa for going from ef-au to ea-ed covers

dont forget, with ef> r/covers, they had a rounded edge on the part that goes where the cam plugs used to, you need to get a file and make that edge square if fitting the later cover to the ea-ed head
