Hey guys, if you've been following my thread here: http://www.fordmods.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=47686 , you'd know that I have removed my air con vents, the glovebox, and a number of screw near the glovebox area on the bottom section of the left hand side of the dash.
Now the air con has developed what sides like a leak in this same area, basically behind where the glovebox was. This might be helpful too. When the car is switched to ON, but not running, and you know how the air con works sort of in a less-than-full-on-mode, well there is leak sound then (that's when the air con isn't really being air conditioned, right? It jsut goes air temp. after a while if the air con is on and the engine isn't running). But you start the engine, and bam, there's the air whistling sound. So lads, whats the go yo?

Vacuum leak probably, thats where the vacuum tree is, you more then likely knocked a hose off.

Thats the ones, they all join on a rubber coupling, you should see a green one coming in from the bay from memory, all small, about the size of a matchstick roughly, hence the whistling sound....
