Just wondering if this mod is possible? The reason i ask is because i bought a boss kit yesterday (apparently for an ED) and it doesnt exactly fit. The problem i have is that, when tightened the boss kit seems to squash the indicator arms to much that they dont work. Is there somethin i need to modify before attaching the boss kit or somethin?? .....the only other thing i was thinking is that the boss kit is the wrong one?

Sounds like the wrong one.

The boss kit shouldnt go near the indicator arms.

It should slide tightly over the splines on the wheel and stop before hitting the plastic.
