This may sound like a dumb question but it has to be asked. I recently bought an XH ute and the service light (picture of a small spanner) in the instrument panel came on. If anyone knows how to turn this off your advice would be appreciated.

hold the odometer reset button in until the cluster beeps and the spanner disappears.

I just tried your 'fix' and it works. Takes about 10 seconds for the beep and sure enough, the spanner disappears.
