hi just got a ef with factory lpg my problem is it wont switch over to gas all it dose is die in the a** any help needed and were would the lpg/gas fuse be ive checked the others and are all fine thanks

check the wiring on both solenoids,1 in engine bay,1 on the tank,should have two wires each.then get some one to switch the gas,listen for a clicksound-tank first,then the engine bay.if both click you have gas to converter,may start.if not can be converter problem-internal or the runs a dead man switch which runs gas when the ignition is on-this has a fuse-check wiring is all on.

where is the dead man switch which runs gas when the ignition is onand were is this lpg that has a fuse

are you duel fuel or lpg only,whats it doing at the moment

i always found the change-over on the factory systems to operate a bit strangely

i think the engine has to switched off, then press the button to change, then start, is that how your doing it?

i now know what wrong sort of when you put it on gas it spits out water from the converter so can the converter be fixed or do i need a new one thanks

sounds like corrossion or the diaphram is split,can get repair kits or replace converter,is there a gas place near you for repairs.there are 4-6 gas installers in wollongong,sell kits and converters,will repair it.

new convertor for the factory gas wont be cheap...

If it's factory gas ... I guess giving Boral a call in Arndell Park Sydney your best bet. Much cheaper than going to Ford
