I have an AU Fairmont with this problem that's not causing any hassles, just annoying me. A lot of the time when I'm braking to a stop, and get down to about 15k's, the car shudders, and at night the lights dim slightly. It only lasts about half a second, but always does it at this speed. Any ideas on what this is?

sounds like the car is about to stall, mite be somethin to do with the auto, could need servicing or something...

Idle Control Solenoid ... maybe.
May need a clean ... throttle body may need a clean out as well.

Ha, yea, the car's done over 190 000 k's. Need to give it all a good look over and check everything.
