i'm looking into doing the same thing to my ED XR6 so i contacted snort and basicly asked them the same thing..
this what i sent him: hi, I am very interested in the stage 3 turbo kit.. it will be fitted to an ED XR6 manuel with EL Broard Band Manifold.. Other than what you supply in the kit what else do i need to get, to make the instillation complete? Do i need to replace the computer and do i need to replace fuel injectors, fuel pump? what options are avaliable? Regards, Chris His Reply: gday Chris thankyou for your email both our stage 3 and 4 systems are sold as base (tuner kits), these can be fitted to standard engine, ecu, injectors ect running low boost applications ( 6-9psi ) this will yeild from 180-200rwkw ( standard engine ) although these systems can support from 500-700hp on purpose built engine and support over 25psi boost pressure all day all parts are sold new and coverd with manufacturer warranty for 12 months!! these systems are 90% pre-assembled for easy installtion, although you will need to modify your exhaust ( to fit dump pipe ) and supply intercooler pipework ( not supplied in kit )we suggest your local exhaust shop for this as most have experaince fitting front mount intercoolers ect ,,, we supply vortech . f.m.u with all our systems which will ensure correct fuel supply under boost conditions ( up to 9psi max ) with your standard fuel systems we suggest running aftermarket ecu, injectors, fuel pump , acl race pistons for increased power levels and performance we suggest wolf3d ems stinger or 8860 are best value for money, we have seen up to 400rwkw ( stage 4 ) and 300rwkw ( stage 3 ) once fitted and tuned with these combinations we can advise and support installtion via phone, please contact me on 0405522147 for more details and information regarding our systems, please leave a message with your contact details and we will return your call regards geoff carter www.snortperformance.com

It'll cost but done right and driven appropriately you won't have a loan to pay off if you bought an XR6t....
Alot can be done before actually fitting turbo.. Buying all the parts for start... Fitting intercooler and pipeing can be done before fitting turbo... Then over a long weekend it can be fitted then on monday driven to tunner and have aftermarket ecu fitted and tuned....Don't do it if you plan on selling it latter....
