gday all just wondering if someone chould refer me to a decent auto sparky or give me someone capable of doing the job or telling me what to do

i have a JVC KD-S640
it was running fine when i got it then it started rejecting a few discs every now and then the problem has festered so that now it refuses all discs, the radio and everything else still works, but the exact problem is that i put the disc in, it trys to rerad it but then it rejects it

iv already had it apart once and gave the laser a clean and the whole thing a blast with the air compressor.
can anyone refer me to someone that whould be able to fix this, tell me how to fix it , or for a carton of your choice come fix it for me
im in the rockingham area
cheeres

IS there an Alberts/Westside Car audio down that way ? Both establishments seem to have a pretty decent rep around here..see if they have a techo guy there that could take a squiz for you - how long ago did u buy it - and if so did u buy it new .... warranty ?

sounds like the unit needs a bit of a clean.. they usually reject the dicc because they have dust on the laser lens and it can't read the disc so it ejects it..

This s**t not meant to be repaired!
It'll cost more to have someone molester it, than it would be to buy a new one.

Also, laser replacement nowadays is a very rare repair.
Honestly.. the repairer would most likely just do a... 'ahh she'll be right'.... when installing it.
