I have had my 1980 XD for 9 years and have had it from bare metal to blood red paintjob, i have put a manual in it and power steering etc to her , seats etc all changed and a thump to go with the stereo, I have had a dynotech stage 2 cam put in it and dialed in at 59 . What would the good timing mark that you would set it at , and the mixture setting ( webber )idle rev .? Etc i want the pull power and the economy of the fuel at the same time , i know it can be done as i have done it to my car years ago , i just forget on what i did .. thnx

16 dagrees advance on the dissy and wint the mixter screw all the way in and then wind it back 2 and a half turns and you should get the best from both worlds.

You may have to recalibrate the advance curve in the dizzy to run 16dgs coz it might ping at the top end.
How big is this cam, what specs is it.??? Dialling it in at 59 doesn't tell me a lot.
