I'm planning on buying an XH ute. I'll probably go for the auto however I would be interested in a manual if a 3 seater is available. Did any leave the factory like that?

i haven't seen/heard of a manual 3 seater. wonder if a manual column shift from an earlier X series would work with a fair bit of modification :P

I know the XG had two types of bench seat's,
one for the 5 speed Manual and one for the rest.
The 5 speed manual one had a reccesed spot in the centre so the gear lever did not foul up.
I would have to assume the XH would be the same.

Yeah, the XH is similar, bench seats are fitted with column shift autos, manuals (floor shift only) get an add on between the bucket seats - this is for the Outback ute model only.
