I have a BA Falcon Classic Sedan, Shockwave in colour which I bought new in 2004. I was contemplating trading it for an XR6 with similar age, kilometres and colour . However at a changeover price of around $12k I have abandoned the idea for now. I was thinking instead of just adding the XR6 body kit and 17" alloys to my current BA just to give it more appeal.

Is it possible to buy the XR6 front end for a standard BA as well as the side skirts and rear apron?. It already has the high arch boot spoiler, or is what I'm suggesting just all too hard in which case I should just bite the bullet and spend the 12 grand to trade up. I am in the Sutherland Shire area of Sydney NSW

Any advice would be welcomed

Cheers
Peter

Yeah mate its definately do-able. Check out the site sponsor, FTG auto salvage. They should be able to give you a price on putting the XR6 bodykit on your car.

Visually, just a set of 20" wheels and a fairmont grill mate. I have a BA SR bodykit to go on it in my garage, and its got to get lowered a bit. Oh also an FPV force 6 bootlip spoiler :D

I like those wheels mate...Where did you get em from and what sort of price if you don't mind me asking....Did you have to do any modifications to your car or was it simply off the old 16" rims and on with the new 20's?...What rubber have you got around them.

Cheers

They were $3k from tyrezone, bolted straight up but i rolled the guards. They've got 225/30/20 on the front, and 245/30/20 on rear. They reckoned anything wider wouldve run into trouble on the front.
