I HAVE A FALCON EF 1995 THE CENTRAL LOCKING WILL FUNCTION OK SOMETIMES AND THEN OCCASIONALLY THE LOCK BUTTONS WILL BOUNCE UP AND DOWN 6 OR MORE TIMES AND THEN STAY LOCKED OR SOMETIMES UNLOCKED.OCCASIONALLY THE HORN WILL CHIRP AS IF THE DOOR IS OPEN AND THE REMOTE IS USED EVEN THOUGH ALL THE DOORS ARE FIRMLY CLOSED
COULD THIS BE THE BODY CONTROL MODULE? AT $450 I NEED TO BE SURE
THANKS TO WHOEVER CAN ASSIST

not the BCM - it'll be your actuators... most likely not all of them, but to fix the problem, replace them all - a very common issue with EF's :(

Sometimes if my EF is left in the sun for a while I cant lock my doors using the remote, the locks pop up and the horn sounds as if the door is open but if I lock with the key its ok.

Its happened to mine too :? I pulled the door trims off and sprayed silicon spray on the top of the actuator where the rubber boot is and on the metal arm that goes to the door lock button. Havent had any trouble since then touch wood
