Anyone know if the auto gear knob from an AU will fit the ED? If anyone has done it I'd love to see pics of what it looks like fitted to a EA-ED.

i dont believe they do. the AU has a thick stick where as the EA-EL have a thin one. the EF and EL ones fit aslong as you use the center pole aswell. i made my own pole (sits inside the shaft to push the button in) out of 4 fence ties taped togather and cut to size.

the AU might fit if you swap over the whole floor panel selector section

hahah you im pretty good at bush mechanics... but i always end up installing the right gear... just need to wait till i go to the wreckers next
