Just searching on ebay for random stuff for car, found boot gas struts.. will these replace the orginal booot bar things that get in the way of good looking audio boot installs?

You only need to replace them if your boot doesn't stay up. If you look under the parcel shelf you will see where the struts are. |

Well it was easy, but I just couldn't get the strength to compress them enough to clip them back on - ended up paying a mechanic to do it! |
