maybe someone here can help me.. ? i have an eb 1992 falcon that isn't giving any power to the fuel pump.
i've checked fuses, changed the relays, even changed the fuel pump itself cus we thought that may have been the problem, and still nothing. the testing light itself works fine as we tested it with the battery but it wasn't lighting up when we tested the plugs for the fuel pump. it's not priming at all and the rest of the system was fine.. the engine was winding over, all power ran to everything else, just nothing with the pump.. would anyone have an idea what could be causing that problem? |

I'm assuming you have an EBII or later.
You should earth the top right pin of the diagnosis connector, and turn the IGN on - normally the pump will run without cranking or engine running. Then you can do your voltage checks working back from the pump to the ECU and fuel pump relays, etc. As it stands, you probably replaced a lot of items that are probably okay.

no it's the eb, not the series 2.. i'll be honest too, i don't know anything about this car, so where is the diagnosis connector located?
all relays are clicking, and all fuses were fine, unless i haven't found any that are hidden.. i'm sure all them are fine, but i haven't found no fusible links yet either.. any idea where abouts they will be located? |

fusible links are connected to the positive terminal of the battery,,on the ea there is about 3 or 4.

i had to bypass the pump cable with another accessory wire. there is something else causing the problem and i think it could be electrical wiring now... i tested everything i could think of lol. the pump worked once i bypassed it..
