Just a quickie, i was wondering if there was a way to dis-engage the rev limiter on the falcons also i was told there is something on the trans that you can do and the car and when you put your foot down the car will peak rev before gear change, any ideas??

with the rev liminter I wouldnt be getting rid of it, the rev limiter is their for a reason . It stops the engine from blowing up.

a cop/xr6 ecu would hold revs longer, but in auto guise, my car gli ecu would change at 5400rpm @ WOT

revlimiter fit gas... car sounds really bad off the tacho

as for the peak revving thing...that would involve a circuit which detects sudden changes in the throttle pos. sensor then disengages S5 till WOT....f**k your gearbox and drivetrain all in one go! kinda like a neutral dump
