HI all ....Can anyone tell me differences in suspension specs between these two models?

Just lower springs and better shocks AFAIK.
Kings Spring "low" coils for the XT = Standard XR height ... or thereabouts.

yeh u guys pretty much covered it. Also on BA and BF MK1 cars built from the factory with 17" wheels have a different steering rack to cars built with 16" wheels.

i'm not 100% sure what the reasoning is. I think its to do with different gearing to allow for different widths of tyres and thus different loads placed on the rack.

To go down to the next level I'd need Kings super lows ...correct? (are the supler lows known as SL ...what does SSL mean "super super low ?) I've been advised by a couple of people to get SL's in the front and SSL's in the rear. However won't that make the point to the sky a little? How much do yopu reckon for these springs fitted? Cheers

The rear does sit a little higher than the front ... at standard height though it's not that noticeable ... you notice it more though when the top of the tyre gets closer to the guards.
Now this can get confusing ... you can get XR Lows ... which equals base model SL's. I got my suspension through Pedders ... and my ute has the XR suspension at EGAS height (higher in the rear for weight difference of tanks). Although i changed mine to an "XR Low" height all round ... it could be a bit lower ... but then I do encounter some loading docks loaded up and I scrape in some places ... so I am not going any lower.
