It reads data from the EEC-V bus, so if there's no EEC-V, then there's no trip computer. You can always go back to EA-ED trip computer, as it reads the injector pulse to make its calulations.

Just note that the trip computer was calibrated and designed to run on an EEC-V. Any alterations to your computer or engine tuning will mean that it will be inaccurate anyhow.

You'll also find that climate control wont behave correctly, as it's unable to determine the engine coolant temperature - you may also have issues with the A/C compressor switch.

we have only removed the injectors wires from the eecv and taped into the tps signal , the coolant temp sensors is the stock one and hasnt been touched i added another to run to the wolf3d
