on monday arvo my car (ed 6 cyl ) didnt start up very well idling really low and wanting to stall out which happened a couple times. also noticed when a set of lights black and i mean like some one was just pumping carbon into the air was coming out the exhaust. the car also has a loud clunky niose when idling. i was just thinking bout going over the basics like plugs & leads and the injectors to see if these are the probs. does any one know what could be wrong. or will it be time just to swap a motor over to an ef-el

Mine did that when the vacuum hose came off the MAP sensor, check that first, on the firewall near the back of the fuel rail, pretty sure it goes from there to the inlet manifold check both ends.
