ambrose has again impressed in the nascar series with a top 5 in practice and 6th in qualifying. hope he can improve in the race.
he still tops the rookie c/ship by 2 points from juan pablo montoya which is quite a feat in itself.

he was running 6th with 8 laps to go before he got caught up in a 9 car pile up. ended up about 25th. so good signs, just needs a bit of luck on his side now

Restirctor racing is F**k crazy. Its like tailgating someone at 300km/h. One slip up and its all over.

yeah saw the result on sports tonight. damn, poor ambrose has had his share of accidents since going to america. oh well. i wonder how montoya went and how it affected his c/ship. its a full on season over there though so plenty of racing to go.

to be honest, I enjoy watching the NASCAR (inc. Busch Series) more than I do the V8's. The tracks look amazing and there is always action and passing and you can see more than 1 car at once
Still got biased commentators who only comment on the first 5 ppl in the race, but the whole idea of the cut-away car to show us what they are talking about, brilliant!

Ambrose was very unfortunate at talledega. Notwithstanding, was a great busch series race. Few of 'dem boys' got a bit too carried away with the bump drafting.
Howabout those camera shots from the rear bumper as they're pushing each other down the back straight. Unbelievable. 30 lead changes between 16 different drivers, a new taleldaga/busch record. Kyle Busch's rollover was spectacular. Think the ambrose/montoya incident was at the last round in phoenix... ambrose apologised after the race.

Ambrose is doing ok in his first season in the Busch series , saw him race at Talledega, was impressed , came up to 8th place caught up in accident which put him back to 25th. I view Nascar , especially now that Ambrose is in the Busch series quite often. But mainly watch the Nextel Cup love tracks like Talladega and Daytona. Nextel cup reminds me of V8 supercars, GM Chevrolet, seems to have the numbers of big name drivers eg, Jeff Gordon, Tony Stewart, Jimmy Johnson, Kevin Harvick, Earnhart jnr etc. Hardly any front running Ford drivers, except Matt Kenseth whose running third in the Nextel Championship. other Ford drivers , Greg Biffle, Mcmurray, Carl Edwards seem to start ok then gradually slip back in the field leaving only Kenseth. My point is Chevrolet inthe U.S. is like Holden here, two big race teams Hendrick and Childress, same as HRT & Toll racing. What has Ford got FPV and Vodaphone, Stone Bros . They were great last year but this year seem to have lost the plot to the Commodore Hot Rods , I know its early in the season but---------. C'mon guys any comments
