As stated above, which shocks should i get? i got a el wagon and I need advice on what brand i should buy and what type. Currently i have stock shockies and springs. I thinking of getting monroe. Also the price you have paid for them will be good as a refferece.
Also i was thinking of changing the springs to dobinson. part number is C19-094 and lowering the leaf spring.
Any advice would be helpful.
Cheers Adam.

Forgot to mention that i want the car to handle better and not just for looks. As it floats and rocks like a boat at the moment. My old man said i should just stick new sway bars.

sway bars actually improve handling more then lowering does, but sway bars wont improve looks.

the original shockers i pulled out were all ford labeled. plus the cars are around the 10 year old mark so who knows what they may have been but if most are like mine they'd be pretty shot after that long

Yeah, vote for KYBs or BOGE if you are on a bit of a budget.
I reckon its better going middle range shocks, then using the money saved to buy swaybars, then it is going straight to top of the line s**t and not being able to afford the swaybars.

Put pedders low sport shocks in the front, reset the rear with an extra leaf and you wont have a drama, swaybars wont be required

I put King Spring super lows and Koni Adjustables on my ute and the handling changed quite a lot. Handles corners a hell of a lot better then before

I've got an EF Wagon and I put some KYB Excel-G shocks in last year. They firmed up the ride a bit compared with the original Motorcraft ones. I'm very happy with them so far.

Brought them from a guy on e-bay for $379-00 inc freight. Boges are also supposed to be good.
