Right...I have just purchased an 03 xr6t sedan just like everyone else here and blah blah blah......
Anyway, it has had a herrod suspension kit put under it. It sits about 35mm lower than a standard xr. The problem is it has about 3 degrees too much camber on the drivers side rear and sits about 15mm lower on this side. I have been told that a camber kit may fix this. Before I go to a suspension shop and spend more $ can anyone tell me if a camber kit will fix this? The fella that did the wheel alignment couldn't tell me as he is not up on performance suspension parts. All he could tell me was that there was an issue there. Need help as 19 inch tyres are too expensive to scrub out..... Cheers

The fellar at Bridgestone said he would bet his left nut on the setup being wrong. He reckoned nothing was bent (I didn't see for myself).
I just want more info on these camber kits more than anything.

is that bridgestone in naracoorte? i was in beau repairs here in town the other day asking a few questions about tyre wear and the bloke was saying somthing about rear camber kits, id never heard of camber kits for the rear till then so might be worth giving them a call and see what they say.

No it was Bridgestone in Bordertown. I will be in Naracoorte on Friday so I'll stop in and see Beaurepairs while I'm there. Might also be able to catch up for a yak and a cold one Millard.....

ive not heard of the rear of a ba needing one. XR sedans should already have adjustable rear camber where XT's etc dont. VT/VX Commodores need them when lowered but ive driven company car BA's we lowered big time and never scrubbed rear tyres. Take it somewhere else and get a second opinion, and get them to guarentee that a camber kit for the rear will fix it.
