the GLi "classic" had cruise standard, you must have a different steering wheel or someone has put classic stickers on your car

-a wheel with the cruise buttons
-cruise module with the part number begining with 91 DA (ithink as long as its NOT the 89DA one (mounts under console))
-vacume switch (from brake peddel) and plastic vacume switch mount..
-vacume lines
-pump
-vacume actuator with cable
and that about it..
all wireing should be allready there..

I find it very strange it does not have cruise!
I had confirmation from ford all the standard features of the limited edition "Classic" both Futura and GLi, and cruise was one of them and aircon as standard

have a look at where the accelerator cable connects to the throttle body and there should be another cable (cruise cable) if not then most likely yes you don't have cruise and I have wasted your time, but have established that someone has put Classic stickers on your car as it is NOT a ED GLi Classic, just a mere GLi Classic wannabe

I have a link to another ED Classic being sold on ebay without cruise, my sons classic is nearly the same as it, except for the wheels and color of the striping.

thanks for all the replies.

It is to my knowledge that the ED Futura Classic that came out with cruise as standard and not the GLi.
My 94 ED GLi Classic doesn't have cruise on it.

Yeah, ford could be talking s**t, i'm just passing on what they confirmed, i remember that ford stated that the ED Classic came with red striping and classic rims and small classic decal, but I have seen another edition of the classic, it had silver striping and 15" snowflake rims and it has a pinstripe decal with classic written.

cheers
Barnsy
