I need to replace the door button surround on an ED door trim, the bit the button slides up and down in. Can anyone tell me a way of doing this?

Yeah mate,
Did one myself a while ago on my old car. What i did was, take off the door trim, smack out the original sleave and used a a*** a*** superglue to mount a new one. Took two goes to get it right. Made a clip up out of plastic to hold secure it on the underside of the trim.


the problems you face are: 1. making sure you don't wreck the door, 2. getting a donor part (wreckers are easy, just pocket it) 3. remounting the sleave.

I tried doing things different ways, but I figured out in the end the only option was to have a go or replace the whole doortrim (which is a b**ch) so I had a go at glueing it and it worked...
