Looking for a power steer cap for the v8. One of the tabs has broken off, and under pressure, sees a bit of pwr steer fluid spraying around :)

I beleive theyre the same from EB-EL.. maybe even AU. *shrug*

Dunno about AU but yeah... EF/EL definately has the Ford C111 p/s pump... if that helps.

They run that piece of s**t plastic pump don't they?
It originally came out on the XD, noisy piece of s**t they were, and i remember going to the motor show when the EB V8 was released, i couldn't believe it when i seen one of those s**t pumps sitting on it.

:lol: I thought the same, but I have one on the XD that is quiet as (when the XD was running :shock: ), seems if they every run out of oil and they develop that noise and they never come good, unlike the later XF onwards (Saginaw?) pump that could take a hiding.

Yeah i p****d that plastic thing off long ago and fitted a Saginaw pump, those things are close to bullet proof.
But still if you compare the 2 pumps, the Saginaw wins by miles, i'd be more inclined to convert it.
