Hi There,
First, I really appreciate all the help Im going to receive from everyone. I have just purchased a full 1995 fairlane ghia interior to fit into my EF Falcon. Seats/door trims/carpet. What would be the best way to go about putting all of this in? I know the back seat has to be changed to fit, what about the front seats? Also, looking to install intermittent wiper control, and climate control. Any questions, please contact me on john@comutech.biz Thanks Again John. |

Front seats will fit fine.
Climate control involves removing the whole dash and changing the manual climate parts over to auto climate. http://www.fordmods.com/forums/documents.php?doc=8 - climate control link. Carpet from Fairlane is longer too Wiper assembly should be just changeover as they will wire into the new dash loom. Rear doors will fit.

Thanks Cam,
Is there any way to make the back door trims fit? As I do not want to seperate woodgrain from them. Thanks John. |

Do you have the power window parts as Fairlanes had power windows all round?

Hey,
Im thinking of changing the dash loom and BEM to a high series. What needs to be done? It is a straight swap over or do other items need to be added? Thanks |

Hey Everyone,
I've just picked up a full dash from an EF Fairmont with BEM and climate control. If I understand correctly, I just pull my old gli dash out and replace it with the fairmont dash and nothing else needs to be changed! Getting back to changing the interior, I understand the EL front seats go further back. I am a very tall person and would like to know if I can change the rails to an EL set? With regards to the backseats, what is the correct process in making them fit? I don't want to get half way through and find I need some special tool or something. Also, is there an easy way of making the carpet fit? Again, thanks for all your help. PS: Also looking for a EL Fairmont Bonnet and Bumper Bar in the Sydney Metro Area |

heh $35
you need to add the blend door motor, vacuum solnoids, sunload sensor and a few other goodies. the climate control module is the easiest part. you also need the ambient air temp sensor (bumper part) I've done a few of these.... it isn't that hard to do.. but its not just add the wires and 'go'

Hey,
Almost ready to start total interior conversion, but a few small things first. 1. I'm quite a tall person and have been told that the EL series front seats go back that little bit further. Is this true, and can I change the seat brackets to support this? 2. Is there any way to make the fairlane carpet fit the falcon??? 3. Apart from all the usual things found in a fairmont ghia (Climate Control/power windows/woodgrain door trims/etc) is there anything else that needs to be changed inside the car to make it look authentic? John. PS: Still looking for a EL Fairmont Bonnet, Front Bumper Bar and EL side door strips |
