no worries. first turn the lights on leave them on for approx 1min. turn lights off. get the multimeter and connect to battery and have it set to volts. get some1 to crank over the car and record the initial figure. if the figure is over 10.3 volts the battry is fine anything under 10.3 requires new battery or recharge. i think i set cold cranking amps before what i ment was initial crank. but yer thats how you check the initial crank.

Yeah, clearing the codes and getting the latest is a good idea.
I'd be suspecting those solenoid codes, from memory I don't think the TPS will cause LHM.
If they still come up, do a resistance check of those 2 at the ECU terminals - remember that S5 needs to be checked through the 12v power lines, S2 gets checked through it's return pin 46 (signal earth).
Check the loom plug near no6 injector, and the round plug at the transmission - they may have crap/oil buildup in them - particularly the one at the transmission.

yer i tested all the wires at the TPS and the ECU by back probing them , if memory serves correctly , at plug 89 which is green , with the throttle at idle it shoult be recieving 0.7 -0.9v , and fully open 4v , and then plug 90 which is orange , should be getting a constant voltage of around 4.9 - 5.3v , everything was within spec on the TPS .. i have a feeling it will be something small .. hey what earth strap did you find was loose ?

i ran a diagnostic check on it yesterday , 6 codes came up : tansmission solonoids 5 and 2 were fualty , it failed its high and low idle test ( which i think is a MAP sensor or an injector problem ) , the power steering sensor , and the throttle position sensor , the TPS has was replaced 2 months ago for this same problem and fixed it up until recently , i checked all the voltages at the TPS and then pulled out the ECU and checked all the voltages there , all are within specs , so im ruling out the TPS sensor , i dont know much about the ford gearboxes , so do any of you think that it is those 2 transmission solonoids doing it ?

Did you Goose the throttle and turn the steering wheel during the test?
If you didn't you will get codes for TPS and PSPS.
