Hi
i just bought an AU2 2001 model and want to put a TS50 kit on it, however i have kind of a steep driveway going down. The car is stock and the bottom JUST clears now however the back and front aren’t too bad, does any one know the clearance difference from stock body to body with kit? I am also putting 20's on before the kit goes on, will there be any problems with scrubbing out? Thanks in advance Al |

20's should be fine on an AU. Pay the extra and have the guards rolled though. As for the bodykit, if you lower it you'll be stuffed. I wouldn't bother with the T series kit though.

Ok sounds all right what sort of kit do you have on yours? Do you have any suggestions for a kit then as it is standard, I also might be bagging it.
Thanks for the reply appreciated Al |

I've got a BA not an AU. I have a BA SR bodykit on my BA. When i had my AU though it had a kit on it, lowered on superlows with 19's and never scraped. It was the AU2/3 tickford skirting kit. Let me know if you want a pic, it was a very nice kit.

Its heaps more subtle than the Ts50 kit but i reckon its nice. They don't need big fake t# kits to look good. The grill isn't part of the kit though.

dont do anything which will make your car impractical. Unless you are really sure you dont want to be going down that driveway.
I cant put a kit on mine as the bottom is only a poofteenth off the ground at the top and the front is even closer at the bottom (driveway kicks back up a little bit at the bottom) |

Thanks mate sorry to be a pest but how did you go fitting it, and what’s it likely to set me back? I agree though it is simple but looks nice. Do you think this would be alright with the driveway thing?

I got it from AWC and they supply fitting instructions etc. It was $660 all up incl post and then i got my mate to paint and fit it. The rear was a bit of a prick to fit though. |

I can do you that kit (air dam, side skirts and rear skirt) for $598.50 plus freight.
Cheers, Bob
