hey i just had my diff rebuilt to lsd and i went a bit savage on the gears i am traveling to the country and back every week and 4:11 gears are too much what gears would suit i still wana get of the line half decent cheers

What motor?. Maybe try 3.9s or 3.7s.

whats revs it doin at 100km/h? And whats not too much at 100km/h for you?

Ok dude, based on your car revving at 2600 rpm @ 100km/h i did some calculations.....

3.23 ratio = 2050 rpm @ 100km/h
3.45 ratio = 2200 rpm @ 100km/h
3.7 ratio = 2300 rpm @ 100km/h
3.9 ratio = 2450 rpm @ 100km/h
4.11 ratio = 2600 rpm @ 100km/h

So i reckon go with 3.45 ratio diff with a bit of engine modding to help it get off the line quicker :wink:

4.11 gears are more for autos with the maniual all youll need is 3.45 which you can drop the clutch and do a good take off and itll be revin low on the freeway

yeah 3:45 or 3:7 is the go! 3:7 is savage in first gear as were 3:45 u get plenty more in the up end department with good acceleration as well
