As the title says.. during a cam swap.. lost a little tension on the chain and now I can't get it back up high enough and over to the left so that I can put it back on the cam.
Any tips/suggestions would be very helpful.. if anyone wants to actually come and help.. I have beer and food :)

here are some docs from a different forum

"update your cam" and "head gasket replacement" may be some help

Why bother replying with that if you're not going to detail it?
The tensioner needs to be reset once you remove it, i haven't looked at the above link but if it's not there then we should have a doco here that will explain it.

Is resetting the tensioner hard?

The docos on this site just say "refer to ford service manual for this step".

sorry walker, i keep assuming people have a gregories...

-pull ps pump away
-undo tensioner (pull it out)
- look at it, remember how it gows back togethere, two slides and a spring from mem
-click it together (so its in its compact form) then -unclick it a few times in your hand so you get the idea.
-put cam gear on,
-slide tensioner in unclick it
-bolt everything back togetherer
