ever since i bought my ef falcon ive had to push the gear forward to get the car to start. recently the bushes broke away from the gear selector, and the car was becoming really hard to start.
i installed new bushes in the gear shifter level, and new bush down by the actual tranny, (if you understand what i mean). then i replaced the neutral switch.. for some reason the car wont start now... does anyone have an idea why? |

Neutral switch was already turned 90 deg when you put it on.
Or the shifter wasnt in park when you put it on. |

I mean the internal mechanism was already turned. Take it off and make sure its in the park position, then put it back on and try again.
